The territory of Hydropark ‘The Windmills’ is planted with about 10,000 trees and 20,000 shrubs of a total of over 70 species of vegetation. Here you can see almost all tree and shrub species found in Bulgaria. Over 300,000 seeds, roots, and bulbs of various flowers have also been planted. For your convenience and for educational purposes, we have placed an information board listing all the species found in the complex. Some of the tree and shrub species you can see here are:

SPORT FISHING
A vacation with a fishing rod in hand
For fishing enthusiasts and those who dream of a walk by a lake near Sofia. The lake covers an area of 30,000 square meters and is stocked with carp, European catfish, bleak, maple, white amur, silver carp, pike, babushka, tench, and crucian carp. It is a favorite fishing spot due to the presence of trophy specimens. If you are good with a fishing rod and are lucky, you can catch catfish over 15 kg, as well as carp, pike, and grass carp over 8 kg.
Around the lake, there are separate fishing piers with a canopy, tables, benches, and 9 piers with a total capacity of 80 seats.
